"Devious Accents" is a new feature/interview series of Senior Members here on deviantART that aims to surface key features of each Senior and to show them to the community as a whole, brought to you by %dAseniors--the official group for Senior Members on deviantART!
Finally, thoughts and sentiments from the Senior-side are revealed to the general community. Let's get started!
`Milotic1406: Why did you decide to make the leap and become a deviant?
`catluvr2: I decided to become a deviant because I saw a link on a website called WinCustomize, and I wanted a place to share my CursorXP themes where they didn't have to be approved just to be in my gallery.
`Milotic1406: What are your favorite aspects of the deviantART community?
`catluvr2: Well, I stayed on dA because of how friendly everyone was, and to a large extent, that's pretty much stayed the same, although some people have left, others have joined, and some people have stayed the way they were when I first met them.
`Milotic1406: When do you find yourself being the most creative?
`catluvr2: It really depends on what I want to create. For instance, sometimes I find myself wanting to draw something when everybody else is at lunch, other times I find myself developing a story or characters when I'm walking to work, and still other times I find myself just doing art for the sake of doing art and seeing where my fingers take me.
`Milotic1406: Are there any deviants whom you look to for inspiration?
`catluvr2: It's kind of hard to narrow them down to just a few, but my early favorite artists are `keiross for the Fella Avatar (which I'm using a modified version of for my avatar), ~dutchie17 (the first emoticon I ever added to my faves), and ~luigihann for WinAmp skins.
`Milotic1406: What contrbutions to the community are you most proud of since receiving Seniority?
`catluvr2: Well, I'm proud that I've managed to pull together a devMEET in my area for three years in a row, and I'm also proud that I was a volunteer back in 2010, even though I had to step down for personal reasons. I'm also working on a radio script with some other deviants, but you'll have to wait to see more about that.
There are many more to come!
