"Devious Accents" is a feature/interview series of Senior Members here on deviantART that aims to surface key features of each Senior and to show them to the community as a whole, brought to you by %dAseniors--the official group for Senior Members on deviantART!
Finally, thoughts and sentiments from the Senior-side are revealed to the general community. Let's get started!
a young director of photography and Deviousness Award recipient of May 2012!
`Milotic1406: Why did you decide to make the leap and become a deviant?
^TimberClipse: I was originally introduced to deviantART by one of my friends right after turning thirteen. It was a fantastic decision and one that I truly believe has shaped the years following for me to grow and develop not only as a deviant, but as a human being on Earth. March 26, 2013 was my fourth birthday here and I am so thrilled that I have been here for so long.
`Milotic1406: What is your favorite color and why?
Why? Cus I can
`Milotic1406: When did you receive Seniority? How did you feel when you got it?
^TimberClipse: In December 2011 I received seniority as part of the 2011 fourth quarter senior selection. A few months later, I was then awarded deviousness in May 2012.
I was absolutely honored and thrilled upon receiving both of these awards. I had been told by many deviants that I "deserved" the award, but so many others did as well. I couldn't imagine actually receiving the award, but when I did… it took about a week before I could stop smiling.
`Milotic1406: If you could single-handedly choose a deviant to receive Seniority right now, whom would you pick? Why would you pick him/her?
^TimberClipse: Oh gosh, I don't think I could select just a single deviant right now. There are so many fantastic deviants out there, some of whom are really entirely there for the community. Through %DevNews, %fella and %deviant365 I have had the opportunity to meet and work with even more fantastic deviants.
`Milotic1406: Choosing from your deviantART gallery, which is the deviation that you are most proud of?
My film, The Symbol of Peace was the first film I ever created and submitted to film festivals. It was accepted to multiple festivals including the Austin Film Festival in 2012. It has propelled me forward and into my next film with a friend and colleague, Meredith Basler. Together we are creating The Visual Narrative Project.
There are many more to come!
